6 - THE SECRETS OF THE QURAN

@ALIM_AsySuryadi | Palembang - The secrets of the Quran Sheikh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyah rahimahullah said in explaining the ayah in Surah fatihah verse 5 where Allah the mighty says: "You alone we worship and you alone we ask for help" Verily this verse has gathered all of the secrets of the Quran. The beginning of the verse: "You alone we worship" necessitates that we worship Allah by adhering to that which he has ordered us with and it also necessitates that we abstain from that which he has prohibited us from. This verse also necessitates that we worship Allah by loving him at the same time as fearing his punishment and hoping for his reward. The end of the verse where Allah says: "and you alone we ask for help" necessitates that we worship Allah by entrusting our affairs to him and completely submitting our wills to what he decrees and this encompasses all acts of worship.
